FIA Annual Meeting - 26 September, in Angers

Dear Food Identity Association member,

We would like to share with you a few more information about the Annual Meeting that will takes place on th 26th of September at 3 pm in Angers.

Some useful information (extract from the statutes of the association):

1) Members present at the meeting will have a secure vote as written in the FIA statutes

2) Members who can't be there through Skype or in person can chose to:

not to vote
vote through procuration (They choose to give their voice to one of the selected members in the list attached OR to a Administration Council member (these proxy will be distribute on the D-Day between the Administration council member present). => do not forget to fill the form

The votes executed during the next meeting will be:

Internal Rules Validation : document in attachment - Vote Yes/No (Approved if half of votes obtained)
Election of Administration Council new members : minimal number of people : 9 - 2014-2015 year : 12 pers. - 5 resignations - 7 mandate continuation - 4 new candidates (their presentation attached). Candidates will be elected if half of votes obtained.
Political support of the FIA for the maintenance of the compulsory labeling for GMO foods in Brazil. Know more here: www.natalienaestrada.blogspot.com/2015/05/brazilian-government-wants-to-ban-gmo.html Vote Yes/No (Approved if half of votes obtained)

For those joining the Meeting in person

Meeting near ESA - You will get soon the address;
We will bring some food and beverage but feel free to bring some too, especially if you want to share specific product!

For those joining the Meeting through Skype

There are only 7 places available for Skype connection. Administration council members and Candidates have a priority on the available Skype places.
If you are interested on joining by Skype, let us know and we will check availability. Send us your Skype username or add the Association - Food.Identity.Association
You should be available on skype 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting to set up the call. (14h45)

For those who can't be there the 26 :

- We will try to film the meeting. If it works, we will make the video available to association members.

- You will receive the report in the following weeks.

Payment has to be done preferably by bank transfer or cash during the meeting at Angers.
